Let me tinker. That is what you prefer to do, also in a job as a maintenance technician / Maintenance Technician . Do defective machines and broken parts occur in a factory process? Not if it's up to you! You maintain all installations at their best.
Your position as a Maintenance Technician
With your technical knowledge, you maintain factory installations and carry out repairs where necessary. You do not do this alone, but together with an entire Maintenance team. You have an important function in the factory: ensuring the reliability of the factory installations. This means that processes continue to run smoothly and no valuable time is lost due to disruptions.
A selection of your activities:
- Calibrate and align equipment
- Carrying out preventive maintenance work
- Replacing and installing parts and equipment
- Testing, measuring and repairing controls
- Troubleshooting and documenting malfunctions/failure analyses
This is you:
You are a novice or experienced maintenance technician / Maintenance Technician . You enjoy working on maintenance and helping with improvement projects. You may not yet know much about your new employer's installations, but that doesn't matter. You will be trained internally with training and of course you will learn quickly from experience on the work floor. In terms of diploma and/or work experience you have:
- Technical MBO level 3 diploma (preferably Mechanical Engineering) with at least 3 years of relevant experience
or - Diploma in technical MBO level 4 training
